Ichiro (一郎, Ichirō) is a character in Yasuke. He is a young boy wishing to be a samurai.
Appearance[]
Ichiro is a young preteen boy of an average build with a short messy brown hair, dark blue eyes, and fair skin.
He wears a blue kimono robe with a sash in a darker shade and no shoes. When he is first introduced, Ichiro wears a wooden mask to hide his face while out training in the woods.
Personality[]
Ichiro dreams of becoming a samurai and fighting the evil Daimyo. He practices everyday and wishes Yasuke to train him, but he is easily scared when things become serious.
Plot[]
Ichiro attacks Yasuke at the bar, but fails to hit him again. He then follows Yasuke, asking him to train him, so that he can fight the evil Daimyo as war leads to peace and peace to freedom. However, Yasuke refuses and leaves.

Ichiro training in the forest
Ichiro goes to train in the forest, but after seeing two men killing another, he runs scared. He goes to Saki, and tells her he failed to hit Yasuke again, but will do it next day. He asks her to try swinging his bokken, but as she does, she uses her power and ends up breaking it. Ichika returns and sees Saki is getting weaker and decides to take her to a doctor. Ichiro suggests they asks Yasuke to take them upstream with his boat, instead of walking.
The next day, Ichiro fails to hit Yasuke again. He tells Yasuke that Saki broke his bokken and then asks him to take them north, but Yasuke refuses.
Later, Abraham and his mercenaries capture Yasuke and blame him for the death of Ichika and asks the villagers to help find Saki. Ichiro doesn't believe at first, but after seeing Abraham taking out Ichika's necklace, he is disappointed at Yasuke and runs. He and other boys later find Saki in the forest, but she tells them that Yasuke didn't kill her mother. Ichiro asks what happened and recalling the incident, Saki accidentally uses her power and knocks out Ichiro.
After defeating the Daimyo, Yasuke and Saki return to their village, where the villagers welcome them as they are happy Saki took down the Daimyo. Ichiro's father offers Saki to stay at their place, which makes her happy.
